Isolated showers possible Tuesday as some rivers stay high

NOW: Isolated showers possible Tuesday as some rivers stay high
NEXT:

While some rivers are seeing their water levels quickly go down, others are staying high or haven't even crested yet. The Fox River in Waukesha is now nearly below flood stage, but the Fox River in New Munster is still in major flood stage even though it's coming down. The Milwaukee River at Cedarburg is no longer flooding. Of most concern, is the Rock River in Jefferson County where it is still going up or staying high in minor or moderate flood stage.

Our next chance for rain arrives Tuesday but it's only a slight chance and any showers will remain isolated. The best timing for any isolated showers looks like the midday hours into the mid-afternoon. If some showers do develop we can't rule out an isolated storm or even a few downpours.

After Tuesday's isolated rain showers we stay dry all day Wednesday. Thursday evening will bring in a better chance for some showers and storms going into Tuesday night and through Friday. Some of those storms could produce heavy rain, but widespread severe weather is not expected at this time.
