MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Grammy-nominated country star Jelly Roll guest stars on a new episode of "Fire Country" Friday night, as "Noah" -- a health care worker and former convict in the process of turning his life around.
The singer says he felt a special connection with the role.
"When I came home from my last time being incarcerated, where I was so determined to change who I was as a human, that if music didn't work, I have a feeling that I wouldn't have been farfetched from being Noah....working, just trying to help people," Jelly Roll said.
The all-new "Fire Country" with Jelly Roll's acting debut airs at 8 p.m. Friday night, April 11, on CBS 58.
