JJ Watt sends new jerseys to fans who had to destroy one to save man's life

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The pride of Pewaukee strikes again. Houston Texans star JJ Watt responded to a near tragedy.

Before the Texans' game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 6, a tailgater in the parking lot at the Texans' NRG Stadium went into cardiac arrest.

Strangers stepped in and performed CPR, saving the man's life.

Their only regret was that they had to cut up the man's JJ Watt jersey.

Well, Watt heard the story and according to a tweet, he's sending new jerseys to everyone involved.

He said, "jerseys can be replaced, but a life cannot."
