Joe Pera brings 'gentle' stand-up special, 'The PERAs Tour' to Pabst Theater

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Comedian Joe Pera is set to deliver his own quiet brand of laughter at Milwaukee's Pabst Theater with an upcoming stand-up comedy special, "The PERAs Tour." Fans of the subtle humorist can mark their calendars as tickets will be available Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m.

Pera, a Buffalo, N.Y. native, is recognized for his distinctive, gentle comedy style. He gained fame with his television series "Joe Pera Talks with You," hailed by The LA Times as television's most artful comedy.

His connection to Milwaukee is memorable, having showcased the city in a 2020 episode of his show, where local sights were highlighted during a fictional road trip, though most of the episode was actually shot in the city.
