Kendall Corder, Christopher McCray among officers honored at MPD Merit Awards Ceremony

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police were honored for their bravery Wednesday night, including two officers who were shot in the line of duty.
The department held their Merit Awards Ceremony, with honorees including officers Kendall Corder and Christopher McCray.
Corder and McCray were ambushed by a gunman back in June.
Officer Corder died in the hospital days after the shooting.
His family accepted the award Wednesday on his behalf.
