Kenosha police find woman dead, man seriously injured at home near 57th and 13th Avenue

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A homicide investigation is underway in Kenosha after a woman was found dead Saturday, April 25, in a home near 57th St. and 13th Ave.

Police responded to the area around 3:30 p.m. for reports of an altercation between two men.

According to the Kenosha Police Department (KPD), officers located and detained 42-year-old Dale Dallia as he was attempting to leave the area.

Police say they then found a seriously injured 41-year-old Kenosha man before entering the home and locating a 37-year-old woman dead. The police department identified her Monday as Kenosha resident Stephanie Birn.

The police department says Dallia is being held on a probation hold while detectives consult with the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office regarding potential charges.
