KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police responded and later resolved a "shots fired" incident in Kenosha near 39th and 53rd Wednesday night, Oct. 13.
Police say that around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night, authorities were investigating a "shots fired" complaint before ultimately locating the suspect near the 39th and 53rd street area.
Officials closed off the area and evacuated neighboring homes while police negotiated with the suspect who was reportedly refusing to exit his residence.
Kenosha police say that after 10:00 p.m. the suspect exited the home and was arrested without incident.
Authorities say the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Police report that there were no injuries and that there is no further threat to our community regarding this incident.
