Kenosha Restaurant serves up traditional Italian Neapolitan pizza

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Oakfire in Kenosha is holding a grand reopening this Friday. The Reignite event comes just in time for National Pizza Month. Oakfire Pizza & Italian has always focused on Neapolitan pizza. Now, David Scotney is focusing on a full Italian menu. 

Scotney and his executive chef, Nick Crawford, spent months in Chicago working under a Pizzaiola from Italy. 

"Neapolitan pizza, the actual standards around the craft, are regulated by the Italian government, so we actually studied by the book, by the letter the actual techniques they teach and train in Italy. We've been able to bring back the spirit of that craft," said Scotney.
