MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After a two-year break because of COVID, Komen Wisconsin held it's spring gala in person tonight, on March 31, at Bottle House 42 in Milwaukee.
CBS 58's Natalie Shepherd had the pleasure of emceeing tonight's event, which was the last in-person event she took part in before the pandemic lockdown.
It was an amazing turnout, The "Hello, Spring" party has been sold out for almost two weeks.
April Dunn, who was featured in last night's "Everyday Heroes", was crowned the biggest bigwig. She wore a bright pink wig all month and raised more than $15,000 for Komen.
Money raised stays right here in southeast Wisconsin.
