MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Companies in our area are looking to amplify the voices of Black and brown people across the tech landscape.
Latinos in Tech was founded in 2019. The company was started to address the lack of diversity in the tech industry.
The mission of the company is to help Latinos in tech achieve higher goals in their profession.
"It's like we are creating kind of pool of talent that's focused on Latino talent, obviously, and then we are disseminating it," said Benjamin Juarez, co-founder of Latinos in Tech.
"We are making the city of Milwaukee, specifically, but also the state of Wisconsin, a tech hub that specifically centered around Black and brown people, equality and inclusion," said Nadiyah Johnson, CEO and founder of Milky Way Tech Hub.
