Legends and Lore Halloween event returns to Old World Wisconsin for just 6 days this October

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You only have six days to experience Wisconsin Halloween as it was two centuries ago. 

Tickets are on sale now for the Legends and Lore Halloween event.

"Legends and Lore allows us to bring to life some of the traditional tales, the legends, the lore that some of the early settlers brought with them to Wisconsin," said Dan Freas, the director of Old World Wisconsin. 

Prepare for an uneasiness in the pit of your stomach as the scary stories are brought to life. 

"Stories of witches, and ghosts and beasts that used to roam the night," said Freas. "We talk about the Beast of Brey Road, which is a legend just south of us in Walworth County." 

Each building transformed to a spooky stop, unlike anything you'll see during the day at Old World Wisconsin. The general store will be turned into the Emporium of Oddities, offering ghoulish treats and ghostly decor. And you can communicate with the other side while talking to a medium inside the Stanford Home. 

Tickets are limited and have to be purchased ahead of time.
