Life Time Brookfield has some ways to avoid getting the 'Turkey Waddle' this holiday season
BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Enjoying the holidays doesn't have to mean gaining weight. Life Time Brookfield has come up with ways to keep pounds off, and it's all about the "TURKEY" acronym.
It's actually six movements, including thrusters, underhand rows, reverse crunch, kettlebell swings, elbow planks and finally your choice of a routine. It could be skaters, high knees, or jumping jacks.
For a full workout, you can do this circuit two to four times with a few minutes of rest between each circuit.
This athletic resort club also has come up with some ways to keeping yourself limber while cooking in the kitchen during the holidays. There are five stretches, including shoulder stretches, single leg Romanian deadlift, wrist circles, hand stretch holds and single leg holds.
