Our last decent rainfall was on August 17th when Milwaukee got just over two tenths of rainfall. Since then we haven't had much besides a stray shower under a tenth of an inch. A few showers rolled through southeast Wisconsin Tuesday morning in a broken line. Rain totals weren't much with around or under a tenth of an inch in most locations. That morning round of rain is all done but a few more isolated light showers will be possible Tuesday afternoon from 1-5 PM.
The rain chance Tuesday is our only one over the next three days and even our only one over the next week.
The mostly dry week comes as we are done on rainfall for the month of August with just a few days left. Unless the showers this afternoon drop a ton of water (highly unlikely) we will end the month below-average on rain. The deficit since April 1st continues to grow and the precipitation deficit for the year is nearing 2".
