Light snow showers Thursday, then bitter wind chills to end the week

Light snow showers are rolling through southeast Wisconsin Thursday morning. A quick dusting has already been reported in many areas with numerous crashes reported. It only takes a little bit of snow for the roads to get slippery so take your time driving all day long. Light snow showers will be possible on and off throughout the rest of the day.

A dusting to a half inch of snow will be possible by the evening hours of Thursday. With temperatures a little colder than earlier in the week there's a better chance for the snow to cover the roadways but most of the accumulation will still happen on grass.

Following Thursday's light snow some bitter cold air arrives. Wind chills will drop into the single digits Friday morning. By Saturday morning those wind chills are hovering round 0* and Sunday morning they go sub-zero for the first time this season.
