Sunday saw a few downpours in parts of southeast Wisconsin. While the showers and storms were few and far between, they were very efficient rain makers with those that seeing them picking up 1-2" of rain in just an hour or so.
But Milwaukee did not see any of the rain on Sunday so it goes down as another dry day which makes it five straight days in a row of dry weather! The last time we had a dry stretch that long was the middle of February!
Monday likely makes day number six of dry weather in Milwaukee but a few showers or storms cannot be ruled out in our western counties with best chances in and around Madison.
The dry streak likely ends on Tuesday with scattered showers and storms likely along a cold front. A few isolated storms could linger into Wednesday.
The majority of the rain this week will fall on Tuesday. Rain totals by the end of Wednesday will range from 0.25-0.75" for most of southeast Wisconsin.
