Major flooding continues with swollen Fox River over its banks in Kenosha Co.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It happens every spring, and this year is no exception.  All the heavy rain this past week has taken its toll on the Fox River near New Munster and Silver Lake. These areas are in a floodplain, so people expect it. The current stage is around 15 feet.  Flood stage is at 11 feet. The levels won't go below flood stage until a week from now most likely. A River Flood Warning remains in place through much of Monday afternoon.
