Let Simple Eats MKE do the prepping and cooking to make meals easier in 2026

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- If you dread planning dinner and cooking after a long day, one local business wants to help you make meals easier in 2026. 

Simple Eats Market in Wauwatosa will do the planning, prepping and cooking. You can order ahead for the week online by choosing your breakfast, lunches and dinners before midnight on Sunday. Then, you can pick up your food from any of the pickup locations from Caledonia to Whitefish Bay.

If you're in a last-minute bind, you can also stop in the Wauwatosa store during business hours for a last-minute meal. 

Krysta Hutton started Simple Eats while struggling to plan ahead for her own family's meals.

"It's something that I needed as a mom," said Hutton. "I was just too busy to meal prep for myself, so I would spend like one day a week doing all of the shopping and all of the prepping and then I would just get sick of it. I was like I don't want to eat chili all week." 

The food offerings are filling and always changing. And they're made by local chefs with nutritious, high-quality ingredients. 

"I always just go off of whatever I'm craving because I eat what I make so I just remember thinking last week 'oh, I really want a Thai peanut sauce' so then I put it on the menu; and I know my kids have been asking for my rigatoni because they love it, so I put that on the menu as well," said Hutton. 

They offer meals for individuals, families and even large catering events.
