MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man arrested in connection to a deadly police shooting in Milwaukee is now charged with felony burglary.
According to a criminal complaint, 34-year-old Orlando Lager and three others broke into a warehouse near 37th and Villard back on March 8.
The complaint says at one point, they were confronted by the building's owner, who claims one of the men shot at him. After police responded, officers chased Lager and another man, 41-year-old Anthony Virginia, down a set of railroad tracks.
That chase ended when Virginia was shot and killed by a Milwaukee police officer who is now on administrative duty during the investigation.
Lager faces more than 12 years in prison if convicted and will be back in court next week.
