Man dies after becoming trapped in Kenosha County silo

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities say an elderly man has died after getting stuck inside a silo in the Town of Brighton Tuesday, Oct. 3. 

Kansasville Fire & Rescue emergency responders arrived at the scene on Highway X around 2:30 p.m.

The fire department says first responders quickly initiated lifesaving efforts to resuscitate the man, who was found buried under corn silage in the silo.

Apparatus and specialized rescue teams from multiple departments responded in an effort to help, however the victim did not survive.
