Man found shot several times in Racine; police seek leads

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after a man was found shot several times near Harriet and State Streets in Racine early Friday, Nov. 6. 

Authorities were called to the scene just after 5 a.m. 

Racine police said the victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition. 

Officials are asking the public for any information that anyone may have about the crime. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
