Man hit, killed by semi following flat tire on I-39

ROCK COUNTY (CBS 58) – A 59-year-old Illinois man is dead after being hit by a semi-truck on Interstate 39 near Edgerton early Wednesday morning.
Authorities say the victim’s car had a flat tire and the 59-year-old was outside of the vehicle when he was hit.
The crash happened around 3:48 a.m. The semi-truck driver is not hurt.
The names of those involved are not being released at this time.
