Milwaukee police are investigating after a man was injured in a shooting near 48th and Fairmount Wednesday afternoon.

Police said that a 20-year-old man was shot while in a residence around 2:40 p.m.

His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators believe that the shooting was drug related.

There are no suspects currently in custody.
