Police: Man injured in shooting near 35th and Meinecke in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a non-fatal shooting incident late Monday night, May 25.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a shooting near N. 35th St. and W. Meinecke Ave. around 11:30 p.m. 

A 33-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the back and buttocks. The victim was transported to a local hospital. 

Police continue to investigate at this time.
