Man killed, 2 others hurt following shooting in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Tuesday night, May 10.

Police say shortly after 9 p.m., they received numerous calls for shots fired in the areas of Marquette and Albert Streets, and Martin Luther King Drive and Kewaunee Street. 

Officers located an unresponsive man who was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. 

A short time later, police say two men with gunshot wounds arrived to the hospital. One had wounds to his abdomen and leg, and was taken by flight to a Milwaukee hospital in stable condition. 

The other man had wounds to his shoulder and back. He was treated and released. 

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
