MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One of the men involved in killing a Milwaukee city inspector learned his fate Friday afternoon.
Qhualun Shaw was sentenced to 25 years in prison and 12 years extended supervision for his role in the March 2017 shooting death of Greg "Ziggy" Zyszkiewicz.
Ziggy's widow gave an emotional statement in court Friday.
"You can not possibly comprehend the sadness I feel, how much I miss him or how life feels unbearable, still feels inconceivable at times," said Ziggy's widow, Ola Zyszkiewicz.
Two other suspects were charged in Zyszkiewicz's murder. Deshaun Scott was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2018. Eric Smiley was convicted after a guilty plea and is due for sentencing later in April.
