MILWAUKEE (CBS58) -- Marquette University fans have a new shirt they can rock while watching their teams compete this weekend.
A shipment of shirts that tout the Golden Eagle's first-ever win in the Big East Championship Tournament arrived Tuesday to the university's Spirit Shop. Employees tell CBS58 the shirts are selling like hotcakes.
One alum, Charles Rebek, stopped by the store to buy his fellow Marquette alum wife a present. He said he planned to also buy one of the new shirts and hopes to wear it to one of the NCAA Tournament games.
"I ordered four tickets for the final," he said.
"I don't know if we're going to get any, but assuming they have 70,000 people as they have in the past, we may be lucky enough to get tickets."
The first-round game in the NCAA Tournament against Vermont tips off Friday at 1:45 p.m. on CBS 58.
