Marquette University police seek suspects wanted for attempted armed robbery near 22nd and Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- The Marquette University Police Department and Milwaukee Police Department responded to an attempted armed robbery near 22nd and Wisconsin on Sunday, April 18.

It happened around 2:45 p.m. Police say nothing was stolen. One suspect fled on foot and was taken into custody by the Milwaukee Police Department with assistance from Marquette University police. 

The other two suspects fled in a black Kia SUV with Wisconsin plates containing digits 742 westbound on Wisconsin Avenue. 

The Marquette University Police Department is also investigating a robbery that occurred near 17th and Wells around 1 a.m. on Sunday. Police say a suspect approached a Marquette student and demanded property. The victim gave up property and the suspect fled on foot, heading westbound on Kilbourn Avenue.
