MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marquette volleyball is back in the NCAA tournament for the 11th time in the last 12 years. It's the eighth time under Ryan Theis since his arrival in 2014.
The Golden Eagles (27-3, 17-1) are a No. 4 seed and take on Ball State at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1. It's the second time in program history that Marquette will host matches in the NCAA tournament. The first time was in 2018.
If Marquette advances, they take on the winner of Georgia Tech and Wright State Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
Reigning national champion Wisconsin is a No. 1 seed and opens tournament play with Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. If the Badgers advance, they host Washington or TCU on Saturday, Dec. 3.
