Masks required for album release event at Turner Hall on Sunday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Turner Hall Ballroom announced that masks are required for an event on Sunday, Aug. 8.

The event is Sunday's album release party for Warrior Songs.

Turner Hall said the shift from the previous "mask strongly recommended" guidance is based on data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

“We made the decision to protect our veterans, musicians and supporters, given recent reports of new outbreaks of COVID,” Warrior Songs Executive Director Jason Moon said.  “Let’s all keep each other safe and enjoy the show.”

The event is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. is on Sunday and celebrates the release of a new Warrior Songs album with 14 songs based on the experiences of Vietnam veterans. Officials say numerous Milwaukee musicians and veterans participated.

Admission is free to veterans and $10 for the general public. All attendees will receive a copy of the new CD., "The Last Thing We Ever Do."
