MASL issues temporary ban on 3 people involved in altercations after Milwaukee Wave-Sockers game

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) says with the help of the Wisconsin Center District's security team, they've identified three people involved in the altercations following the Milwaukee Wave game and San Diego Sockers game Wednesday.
The MASL says the three involved will be banned from all MASL venues and events through June 1, 2027.
The league says they continue to investigate three to five additional people believed to have been involved. They say once identified, they'll face the same disciplinary measures.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Major Arena Soccer League is seeking disciplinary actions for the fans involved in the incident that broke out following Game 1 of the MASL Championship Series Wednesday, April 22.
The league is working to identify all individuals responsible and any spectator found to have engaged in the incidents will face indefinite bans from all MASL events and the Panther Arena.
They will also be subject to referral to arena management and local authorities for further action, including potential legal consequences.
The investigation into fan involvement is ongoing.
At this time, six San Diego Socker players are facing disciplinary actions for the involvement in the incident Wednesday night.

Tempers flared after a review of a kick to the groin to Wave defender Tony Walls. Fans and players were involved in the altercation after the game at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
"The safety of our players, coaches, and staff is non-negotiable," the league said in a statement Thursday. The MASL said its disciplinary review committee will act swiftly, with potential suspensions and heavy fines for those involved. Fans who threw objects will face indefinite bans from all MASL events and Panther Arena.
The Wave trail the Sockers in the series. Game 2 is Friday, April 24 at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, Calif.
