MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Safety and sanitation take high priority among movers as we highlight National Moving Month.  Lara Behrendt, the marketing director at "Two Men And A Truck," says the movers at her company are constantly wiping down touchable surfaces and washing their hands throughout the day.  She says this adds extra time to the workload, but precaution can mean peace of mind for everyone involved. 

Those who use "Two Men And A Truck" are asked to do their part in making the moving process go smooth as possible, especially during this pandemic, by giving very specific instructions. For instance, if the moving company can't come into your place of residence or business, it's important to leave detailed information as to where the items should be dropped off. If you want the temperature taken of each mover, you're asked to make this request as you're booking the appointment.

This time of year tends to be the busiest for movers.  In fact, at "Two Men And A Truck," they're booking out at least a month.  To save time and money, the pros recommend having the boxes packed and furniture disassembled before the movers even arrive.
