MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local digital media company providing a cultural connection to all things Milwaukee just celebrated a major milestone.
Monday morning, Mayor Cavalier Johnson was joined by the "Milwaukee Record" co-founders, Matt Wild and Tyler Maas, at City Hall, where he proclaimed Sunday, April 7 as "Milwaukee Record Day."
The day marked the 10-year anniversary of "Milwaukee Record," which covers the city's entertainment scene. They also hold events around Milwaukee including music series, comedy shows and film screenings.
"Now ten years later, we're still hanging around," said co-founder and co-editor Matt Wild. "We're still writing about Milwaukee, we're still doing a ton of events around Milwaukee, kind of adding to the Milwaukee cultural scene. Not only covering it, but adding to it as well, and we're as busy as ever and we're looking forward to ten more years."
More information about "Milwaukee Record" can be found at their website.
