MCSO: I-94 WB reopen following shots fired investigation, man in custody
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A man is in custody after shots were fired near the Stadium Interchange earlier this afternoon.
Police have learned that two drivers were engaging in road rage behavior, including cutting another one off, and making offensive hand gestures.
One of the drivers then fired shots at the other driver's vehicle. After both vehicles approached the westbound I-94 Mitchell Boulevard ramp, the shooter fired several more shots.
MCSO deputies conduced a high-risk traffic stop and took the shooter into custody.
They say the shooter was a 33-year-old Milwaukee man.
This is an ongoing investigation.

INCIDENT ALERT: MCSO deputies have closed the east-to-south ramp in the Stadium Interchange to investigate a report of shots fired toward a vehicle. No injuries were reported. Traffic is being redirected westbound in the interchange till the E-to-S ramp reopens.

Deputies temporarily closed the east-to-south ramp in the Stadium Interchange as an investigation took place Wednesday morning.
The ramp reopened around 11:12 a.m., however deputies later closed I-94 westbound at 35th St as the investigation continued.
WisDOT says all lanes of traffic have now reopened.
Deputies canvassed the area on foot before reopening all affected lanes.
No injuries have been reported.
