MCMEO: Body of missing MCTS employee found in Menomonee River

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that the body of missing MCTS worker Jerry Wasielewski was found in the Menomonee River on April 12.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Transit System is asking for the public's help in finding a missing employee.

Fifty-six-year-old Jerry Wasielewski was last seen leaving the MCTS Administration Building near 17th and Fond du Lac on Friday, March 20 around 5:30 p.m. Officials say he lives near 11th and Wells.

Wasielewski is described as a Caucasian male standing 6'2" tall and weighing 190 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a royal blue polo shirt with a black hooded jacket, black dress pants, black tennis shoes, and a black backpack. 

MCTS says Wasielewski is a "longtime and beloved" administrative staff member.
