MCTS worker credited with rescuing kitten found in grocery bag near fleet building

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee County Transit System worker came across quite a surprise Thursday, Nov. 4 when he found a kitten in a plastic bag on MCTS grounds.

According to a social media post, the kitten was discovered inside a grocery bag between the fence and bushes near the MCTS fleet building.

MCTS Buildings and Ground Manager Jamie Hinrich is credited with rescuing the animal and bringing it inside to safety.

They have not yet said where the kitten will go from here.
