MFD: Woman injured from fire near 47th and Custer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a fire on Thursday night, Dec. 5.
It happened near 47th and Custer.
MFD says the home was boarded up in front and appeared to be vacant but had access in the back. They say a woman was found in the basement and needed medical attention. She was transported to Froedtert.
The fire department says the fire was knocked down, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
