Details announced for the 10th annual Mayor’s Masked Ball fundraiser
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A group of Milwaukee aldermen, the Milwaukee Kitchen Cabinet, Hunger Task Force, firefighters and a local steakhouse all came together to hand out turkeys to families in need Wednesday, Nov. 22.
"We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their family, in their home. That's why we're making sure everyone has a warm meal to sit around tomorrow," said District 7 Alderman Khalif Rainey.
About 500 turkeys were given out Wednesday afternoon, along with some fixings for families to enjoy.
