MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is celebrating their third anniversary in style. The Milwaukee attraction was named one of the top 20 pop culture museums in the country by USA Today.
"It caught us by surprise the attention that we were able to generate for the museum. It does help," said Co-Founder and CEO of Bobblehead HOF and Museum Phil Sklar. "We definitely want to keep that momentum going."
The Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum continues to grow in both popularity and literal inventory. They've had visitors from all 50 states and more than 25 countries.
"We had a visitor from Taiwan who came, wanted to run a marathon in the US and see the bobblehead museum so he ran the Chicago Marathon and took the train to Milwaukee."
The collection itself has blown by 10,000 unique bobbleheads on display.
"The first Packers bobblehead produced would be this one here," said Sklar.
From nearly 200 years old.
"This little set of cat band was manufactured in a factory that was bombed during World War II."
To brand new.
"Fun to hear people's reactions when they come up the stairs and see bobbleheads to get off the elevator you hear some swear words sometimes," said Sklar. "Other times you hear people going crazy."
USA Today is the latest honor, but there's another one on the horizon. They are working with Guinness to be certified as the World's Largest Bobblehead Collection and should earn that title this year.
