Milwaukee Brewers players make special delivery to Boys and Girls Club

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two Milwaukee Brewer players faced questions on Friday, not from reporters but from some curious kids.

"My name is Damian. I'm a catcher and who was your favorite idol when you guys were growing up?" Damian was asking outfielder Lorenzo Cain and Pitcher Jeremy Jeffress who stopped at the Mary Ryan Boys and Girls Club to deliver baseball equipment to the young players.

As for their answers: Jeffress said his idol was his dad and for Cain, it was his mom.

"My mom just put me on lockdown I guess, but like I said, I'm happy they're part of something positive. You just gotta stick to it, you gotta stay on kids these days and make sure they're being part of something positive all the time," said Lorenzo Cain, Brewers outfielder.

The visit by Cain and Jeffress was part of the RBI Program. RBI stands for Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities.
