MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Zoo's Humboldt penguins have a new place to stay.
The "Penguins of the Pacific" is the newly renovated habitat.
The project started earlier this year thanks to a $3.5 million grant through the state's tourism capital program, and Milwaukee County granted $1.5 million to help finish it.
The penguins now have another pool, a shade structure, and an upgraded life support system.

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley says the new habitat will enhance the guest experience.
"This new penguin habitat will add to our commitment to inspire and delight our visitors of all ages," Crowley said.
There will be special penguin activities at "Wild Lights" happening Wednesday night, Dec. 11 to celebrate the penguins new space.
