MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Back to school sales are starting to show up in stores.
A week from tomorrow, a great opportunity to get some health information for kids before the school year begins.
The City of Milwaukee Health Department will be hosting a back-to-school health fair later next week in the Deer District at Fiserv Forum.
City leaders and community partners met today to get the word out about the event.
Milwaukee's health commissioner touched on a few of the services offered -- including free immunizations, health resources and school supplies to families.
"Immunizations are like a superhero for our kiddos to help keep them safe in their communities, as well as in the classroom," said the commissioner of the Milwaukee Health Department Dr. Michael Totoraitis.
The 22nd annual back-to-school health fair is Friday, July 28 in the Deer District at the Fiserv Forum.
