MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sunday, Oct. 2, a dream will come true for a handful of area high school football players.
At halftime of the Packers-Patriots game, students from Milwaukee Vincent and Pulaski high schools will go head-to-head in "The High School Quarterback Challenge."
It’s an opportunity most can only dream about.
"I'm just excited to be on the NFL field. For real though, like that’s a dream lowkey," said high school senior Tyvion Carson, fullback and middle linebacker.
For some, it will be their first time at a Packers game.
"The whole experience will be something they never forget," said Tom Swittle, head coach for the Vincent High School football team.
At halftime, the high school senior boys -- Demetrius King, Tyvion Carson and Nathaniel Taylor -- will step foot onto Lambeau, competing against players from the Milwaukee Pulaski Rams.
"We were chosen, we deserve it, we've been working hard for it, so yeah, it’s a good gift," said wide receiver Demetrius King.
The players said they are ready for the challenge.
"That’s where I want to be, so it's going to be a blessing and I am just thankful for the opportunity," said quarterback Nate Taylor.
Sunday will be Vincent's first time sporting their home jerseys.
The team is currently 5-0.
