MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Jazz Institute is set to host a performance by the Matt Wilson Christmas Tree-O, bringing a blend of holiday spirit and jazz to the city.

Scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 17 at the Arc Theatre in Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel, the event aims to offer something fun for both jazz and holiday music fans.

The Matt Wilson Christmas Tree-O, led by drummer Matt Wilson, features Jeff Lederer on reeds and Paul Sikivie on bass. The ensemble blends traditional Christmas themes with contemporary jazz and have been featured on the 2022 NPR Jazz Night's Holiday Show.

The Milwaukee performance will begin at 4:30 p.m. with tickets priced between $20 and $75, and a special rate for students. This performance is part of the Tree-O's 2023 Yule Dig Tour, which includes stops in several other U.S. cities.
