Milwaukee man charged in fatal quadruple shooting, arrested in Missouri

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Charges have been filed against 22-year-old Daishon D. Brown in connection with a quadruple shooting that took place at Premier Sports Lounge in Milwaukee, resulting in the death of 38-year-old David Anderson on Thursday, Aug. 22.

Brown faces one count of first-degree intentional homicide for Anderson’s death and three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, all with the use of a dangerous weapon.

Milwaukee police have confirmed to CBS 58 that Brown was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 29 in Missouri.

According to the complaint, filed Thursday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court, Anderson was working as a security guard before getting into an argument with an intoxicated patron outside the tavern. The situation escalated, and Brown allegedly fired multiple shots, striking Anderson six times.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were injured in the shooting but survived.

The complaint cites video footage and witness statements that helped identify Brown as the shooter. He was seen on video firing deliberately at Anderson before fleeing in a white van registered to his sister, who later reportedly identified Brown as the shooter.

If convicted, Brown faces life imprisonment for the homicide charge and additional penalties for the other counts.
