Milwaukee man dead following overnight shooting

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man reportedly sustained a fatal gunshot would early Tuesday, May 9.

Milwaukee police say that they are looking into a deadly shooting that took place early Tuesday at around 2:20 a.m. near 13th and W. Fiebrantz Ave.

Officials say the shooting resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man, who sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 47-year-old Milwaukee male was arrested in connection with the shooting.

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office as the investigation continues.
