OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee man charged with killing two and seriously injuring a third in a wrong-way crash last month pleaded not guilty in court Thursday, June 12.
Ace Vue, 34, is now facing 10 charges after the state amended a complaint, adding seven more charges of recklessly endangering safety to the original three, which also include first-degree reckless homicide.
Prosecutors said Vue drove the wrong way down I-43 near Port Washington for around seven minutes, at times going more than 100 miles-per-hour.
Officials added he passed 24 vehicles in that time, before he crashed into a car driven by Jay and Nicole Horne, who died on scene.
Their 22-year-old daughter was hospitalized with serious injuries, and according to this GoFundMe, is still recovering.
On June 12, Judge Sandy Williams also denied the defense's request to lower Vue's bail from $2 million to $50,000 and bound him over for trial.
Vue will appear next in court on Aug. 6.
