Milwaukee man stabbed in early morning incident

A Milwaukee man was stabbed several times in the chest by a woman early this morning according to the Milwaukee Police. The stabbing occurred around 1:30 AM in the area of N 16ht Street and W Atkinson Avenue. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the multiple stab wounds. According to Police, the female subject was taken into custody. The MPD is continuing to investigate the incident.
