Milwaukee World Festival hosting job fair to fill thousands of seasonal positions April 2

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee World Festival is hosting a job fair Saturday, April 2 to hire more than 2,000 seasonal workers for this year's festival season at the Summerfest grounds.

From concerts to cultural and ethnic events, workers will get to see all the festivals from May to June. 

Available jobs include admissions, box office, guest services and more. 

The job fair runs from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Summerfest Operations Building on Jackson Street downtown.

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) --  Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF), home to Summerfest, is looking to fill over 2,000 positions for the upcoming festival season.

Festival season starts in May and runs through October. Outside of Summerfest, MWF hosts dozens of other concerts and festivals.

Applications are now being accepted for positions ranging from security, operations and marketing to food and beverage. 

MWF is also hosting a job fair on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the MWF General Operations Center 114 N. Jackson Street, Milwaukee, WI. On the spot job offers will be made.

As Milwaukee world festivals prepares to bring back a full season of live music and events to Milwaukee, MWF will offer competitive wages starting at $14-$17 per hour and flexible scheduling.

Other perks employees receive-- free tickets to Summerfest, food vouchers, and of course, live music.
