Suspect charged in crash that killed woman near 51st and Custer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Forty-eight-year-old Quinten Austin has been charged in connection to a fatal crash.

According to a criminal complaint, Austin is accused of running a stop sign and driving more than 30 miles per hour over the speed limit at the time of impact.

Austin is being charged with second degree reckless homicide and second degree reckless injury.


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim killed as 63-year-old Pashoua Lor. 


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 63-year-old was killed in a crash early Tuesday, Dec. 16, in Milwaukee, according to police.

Milwaukee police responded to the crash around 1:42 a.m. near 51st and Custer. One driver ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle that was making a turn, police said.

The 47-year-old driver of the vehicle that was hit was transported to a hospital with serious but non-fatal injuries. A 63-year-old passenger in that vehicle was transported to a hospital and died.

The driver who ran the stop sign, a 48-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with serious but non-fatal injuries and was arrested, according to police.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
