Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting near N. Granville and Donna

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A fatal shooting in Milwaukee is under investigation, following the death of a 24-year-old man on Sunday, March 26.

The incident reportedly took place near the intersection of N. Granville and Donna at approximately 10:10 p.m.

Authorities say that they found the victim, a Milwaukee resident, with fatal gunshot wounds at the scene. He was pronounced deceased. A 25-year-old man, also from Milwaukee, was taken into custody in connection with the shooting.

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office is currently reviewing the case, and formal charges are pending. As the investigation is ongoing, details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released.
